Why is a Solar Power House something we should all start thinking about?
With the prices of gas rising (the US peak this year was over $4.00 a gallon) and falling (current US prices are now under $2.00) so violently, it is imperative to stress the importance of finding renewable resources to use for providing energy.
What happens when the oil resources overseas are depleted?
Are we supposed to start drilling for sugar and hope it will work the same when refined?
Let’s face it. That’s just not two birds of the same feather. This nation needs to start focusing on ourselves, instead of leaning on other countries to provide us with the basic necessities. Trading goods is one thing; relying on another country is an entirely different thing.
We have our own means of renewable resources that can be used for providing energy. Among these is solar power. We have a means of getting power for a Solar Power House from the energy that the sun gives off.
How likely do you think it is that we will lose the sun?
Now, how likely do you think it is that we will lose all the oil resources?
You can’t compare apples to oranges in this case.
We also have access to wind power, like those huge fields of turbine windmills. There will always be wind. It comes from all over the world to grace us with its presence, and even sometimes with more wind than we know what to do with. Wind is one of the forces of nature that will arrive for as long as there is an Earth.
Another good renewable resource that we can use is water. It has no harmful factors to what it redistributes back to Earth. Using water for energy is achieved by using the force of moving water to turn the blades of a turbine, thereby producing electricity.
The future of the entire Earth is at stake. The more resources we use up, the more the Earth dies. If we keep it up at this rate, there will be nothing left for future generations to enjoy.
