Obama to tout wind energy in Iowa visit

President Barack Obama travels to Iowa today with Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.


The president and the former Iowa governor will visit a former Maytag plant that now houses a manufacturing facility that produces towers for wind energy production.


Before returning to Washington, Obama will deliver remarks discussing elements of his energy plan aimed at ending dependence on foreign oil, creating jobs and protecting the environment.
