Egypt to Complete Solar Power Station Next Year, MENA Reports

— Egypt will complete its first solar power plant next year to produce 140 megawatt of electricity, the Middle East News Agency reported, citing Minister of Electricity and Energy Hassan Younes.

The Kuraymat power station is part of the country’s plan to tap more renewable energy, Younes told a delegation of European Union energy officials, MENA reported.
