Solar integrator G Systems to buy Chinese PV panels

Israel's G Systems Ltd. will buy $15 million worth of photovoltaic panel manufacturer from China's ET Solar Group Ltd. for installation in small and mid-sized solar energy facilities in Israel. The panels will generate 7.5 megawatts of electricity altogether.
G Systems has been in business since 2008, and has an orders backlog for the installation of facilities for the generation of 10 megawatts of electricity. G Systems CEO Dr. Israel Ohana said that the company has already installed 80 facilities, with a total capacity of 3 megawatts.

ET Solar's representative in Israel, Rafi Kirshenbaum said that the deal with G Systems was an important step in strengthening and increasing the company's share of the Israeli solar energy market.
