Japan’s TEPCO opens 7 MW solar power plant

Constructed and operated by Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), the solar power plant is expected to produce 7.4 GWh annually over the next 18 years.

Together with Kawasaki City, TEPCO also expects to open the Ohgishima Solar Power Plant in December this year.

The solar power plants are part of Kawasaki City’s efforts to increase the use of renewable energy and reduce CO2 emissions.
