DOE finalizes loan aid for Abengoa solar project

The U.S. Energy Department on Tuesday said it has finalized a $1.2 billion loan guarantee for a solar project sponsored by Abengoa Solar Inc.


The Mojave Solar Project, located in Bernardino County, California, is supposed to help create more than 900 construction and permanent operations jobs.
