China seeks bids to equip 90-MW Tugutang hydropower plant, ship lock

Hunan Xiangjiang Navigation Construction & Development Corp. seeks bids to supply turbine-generators and other equipment for the powerhouse, ship lock, and dam sluices of the 90-MW Tugutang hydroelectric project on the Xiang River in China's Hunan Province. Bids are due May 3.

Hunan Xiangjiang took bids in February to construct the powerhouse, ship lock, and dam sluices at the multi-purpose Tugutang project, part of the Hunan Xiangjiang Inland Waterway Project.

On behalf of Hunan Xiangjiang, China International Tendering Co. now seeks bids for any or all of four contract packages for Tugutang:

1.XTIG 1 Turbines, generators, and auxiliary equipment;
2.XTIG 2.1 Metal structure of barrage sluices and powerhouse;
3.XTIG 2.2 Metal structures of ship Lock;
4.XTIG 3 Hydraulic hoist of radial gates and ship lock and auxiliary equipment.
