Solar Steel gives Japan solar boost of 94MW

Solar Steel, a division of the industrial giant Gonvarri Industries is set to develop three new solar projects in Japan.

The solar photovoltaic (PV) projects of total capacity 94MW, could supply enough clean energy to power 47,600 homes.

The solar plants will be located in the Gunma, Fukushima and Tottori prefectures.

With these projects, Solar Steel will have supplied 13 PV plants in Japan totalling 383 MW, positioning itself as one of the leaders in the country.
