The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has invited bids to develop 10 MW of grid-connected, ground-mounted solar power project in the state of Rajasthan. The plants—to be set up on build-own-operate basis—will come up at Bagru Kala town, near Chitroli village in Jaipur district.

The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) shall sign a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the successful bidder for a period of 25 years.

The maximum tariff payable to the project developer is fixed at Rs 3.20/kWh.

Bidders shall quote a single tariff for the entire package, which shall be applicable for all the 25 years.

Project selection would be technology agnostic, which means crystalline silicon, thin film or concentrator PV, with or without trackers, can be used.

The entire project capacity shall be awarded to a single bidder, which can set up the cumulative project capacity at a single location or configure it as being sub-divided into two blocks of 5 MW each. The minimum voltage level for each block shall be 33 kV.
