Recently, On the occasion of “Krishna Janmashtami”, GoodWe donated its a brand new three-phase SMT series 36kW Smart Inverter to a net-metered Rooftop Solar PV Power Plant at the ISKCON Temple, Ujjain. By generating 60,000+ units of solar electricity every year and annual savings amounting to approximately $6,000, the environmental impact of this installation is equivalent to reduction in the carbon footprint by planting 10,000 (fully grown) trees.

Progressing into the future, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) is taking energy production into their own hands, deploying solar power plants on the rooftops of their own buildings to improve power efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions. GoodWe has taken the initiative in participating in this movement by donating a 36kW inverter from  the latest lineup of it’s products. GoodWe has immense respect for Indian culture and is delighted to see the rapid growth  of India’s PV Industry while we stand by the country’s  side and strive for sustainable development  while contributing to the greener and brighter future of the nation.

The new SMT Series inverter was chosen as the prime candidate for this project owing to  its excellent performance and graceful exterior assembly. With its compact, lightweight, dust/water proof (IP65) enclosure it packs a punch with 30% DC Oversizing and 10% AC output overloading. Thanks to  the smart cooling technology design, the inverter runs on full load while staying reliably cool in  temperatures ranging from -30 to +60℃ while still being able to provide a maximum efficiency up to 98.8%.  This quality driven SMT Series is aimed towards offering medium commercial rooftop installations greater power. Pushing boundaries with a 98.8% maximum efficiency, this inverter wakes up at 180V thereby enabling the PV system to start generation earlier than usual and also operates over a wide MPPT range. All the features are streamlined to provide the users with the most long-term returns and profitability.

Standing tall with a promising future in the PV industry and as a competent manufacturer of photovoltaic inverters, GoodWe has partnered together with Indian EPC and developer giants such as TATA Power Solar, Bosch, and Sterling & Wilson on many different C&I projects across a capacity ranging from  5 to 20MW. Given the chance work with TOP Tier Indian solar EPC firms, GoodWe has also broadened its  expertise and technologywhilst constantly improving the after sales service in the process and offering tailor made features to meet the requirements of the diverse and vast market.

ABOUT ISKCON

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), otherwise known as the Hare Krishna movement, includes five hundred major centers, temples and rural communities, nearly one hundred affilated vegetarian restaurants, thousands of namahattas or local meeting groups, a wide variety of community projects, and millions of congregational members worldwide. Although less than fifty years on the global stage, ISKCON has expanded widely since its founding by His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda in New York City in 1966.
