On July 10, Fortune magazine officially released the list of the top 500 Chinese companies in 2019. LONGi had been in the list for three consecutive years, and ranking up 55 places from a year earlier to the 380th on the list.

Fortune China Top 500 is compiled by Fortune Magazine (Chinese Edition), takes into account the performance and achievements of the world’s largest listed Chinese companies in 2018, and is one of the most famous and authoritative lists to measure the development of listed Chinese companies. It not only arranges the “seats” for Chinese companies, but also reveals the backbone of China’s economic development.

Since it was first inclusion into the Fortune China 500 list in 2017 (ranked 495th), LONGi has been listed on the list for three consecutive years with its industry-leading technology, efficient and reliable monocrystalline photovoltaic products, and stable and healthy financial policies, made “triple jump” on the list, and entered top 400 this year.

In 2018, the domestic photovoltaic market policy changed frequently, affecting the development of the industry. However, in retrospect, the photovoltaic industry has still achieved more than 4% growth, and the global newly installed capacity exceeded 103 GW. Efficient technology has been iterated fast while the power generation costs have fallen rapidly. The number of GW-class markets has increased from 9 in 2017 to 14. The worldwide energy revolution has quietly started.

In such an industrial environment, LONGi still achieved good performance in 2018: LONGi Green Energy Technology achieved revenue of RMB 21.988 billion (about USD 3.197 billion), shipped 3.483 billion monocrystalline silicon wafers, with increase 59% year on year; the shipment of monocrystalline module reached 7.07GW. Total shipment ranked fourth in the global photovoltaic industry. The shipment of high-efficient monocrystalline module ranked first in the world steadily; despite of the adverse situation in the domestic market, LONGi achieved a substantial breakthrough in overseas market. Overseas shipment accounted for more than 30% of the total shipment in 2018, an increase of nearly 20 percentage points over the same period last year.

Selected into the Fortune China 500 list for the third time in a row is once again recognition of LONGi’s performance in 2018 by an international mainstream media through objective analysis and evaluation. Previously, LONGi was recognized by well-known international media and institutions many times. In 2019, LONGi was included in the FTSE Russell Global Stock Index for the first time, selected by Bloomberg New Energy Finance as the world’s No.1 in the photovoltaic industry, and selected into the “50 Smartest Companies” list of MIT Technology Review. LONGi’s concentrating on technology and the idea of steady development have been unanimously recognized.
