Recently, Beijing Pop Huaxia Culture Communication Co., Ltd. participated in the 16th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (COP16) and is committed to co-building a green development platform. Popdesign proposed the idea of establishing a protected area-friendly products system, including wildlife protection bracelets, green forest products, natural science popularization, ecological cultural tourism and other products, aiming to help the development of wildlife protection in protected areas, increase the income of local without damaging the environment, and promote local economic development, which plays a positive role in educating citizens to participate in ecological protection.
The wildlife protection bracelet is an innovative public welfare cultural and creative product launched by PopDesign China, It includes bracelets for protecting wild giant pandas, wild camels, Siberian tigers, and Asian elephants. Each bracelet corresponds to a kind of wild animal. Through accurate matching of big data, citizens can learn about nature and biology, and contribute to the protection of wild animals.
In addition to the wildlife protection bracelets, PopDesign China also released other protected area-friendly products, such as planting sunflowers in the desert and surrounding saline-alkali land by improving the soil, directly protecting the desert ecology, and the sunflower maturity seeds increase the income of the villagers in the protected area, so as to continuously repairs the desert ecology. There is also wild goose rice to protect migratory birds, elephant tea to protect wild Asian elephants, and red pine nuts to protect Siberian tigers and leopards, and so on, to reduce the negative impact on the local environment. PopDesin will donate 3% of the sales to the China Green Foundation to support China’s ecological protection and green development projects after the sale of these products.
