On the afternoon of December 9, Liu Zhuo, Sales Managerof TBEA for the Middle East Region, delivered a speech titled “Green Energy Makes Life Better” at a side event held at the China Pavilion during COP16 in Riyadh.

Liu Zhuo introduced TBEA’s business scope, which encompasses four major areas: power transmission, traditional energy, renewable energy, and new materials.
Products of Four Major Business Exported Overseas
Liu Zhuo explained, “In the field of power transmission, TBEA has built a complete industrial chain in the field of power transmission and transformation, including transformers, converter valves, switches, secondary equipment, cables, bushings, etc. Our products are widely used in power grids, power sources, renewable energy, high-speed rail, subways, petrochemicals, data centers, transportation, urban relocation and upgrading, intelligent manufacturing, 5G, and other fields. We have provided turnkey projects and system solutions for more than 30 countries, covering survey, design, construction, installation, commissioning, training, operation, and maintenance.”
“In the field of traditional energy, TBEA owns an opencast coal mine with reserves of 12.6 billion tons in Wucaiwan, Zhundong, Xinjiang, China. We have built an industrial chain integrating coal, coal power, and railway logistics, and created a production system for smart, green, and humanistic mines, with an approved annual production capacity of 54 million tons.”
“In the field of renewable energy, TBEA has formed a polycrystalline silicon circular economy industrial chain with complementary multi-energy sources. We have built a high-purity crystalline silicon manufacturing base with an annual capacity of 80,000 tons, and have become a system integration service provider for core products research covering polysilicon, inverters, photovoltaics, and wind power projects, power station design, EPC project contracts, operation, commissioning and maintenance. Our business spans more than 20 countries and regions, with a global installed wind and solar capacity of nearly 18GW and inverter shipments exceeding 32GW.”
“In the field of new materials, TBEA has successfully developed high-purity aluminum target billets, breaking industry technical barriers. High-strength and high-toughness aluminum alloys contribute to the localization of high-end aluminum materials instead of imports. Our products are widely used in major equipment manufacturing, 5G renewable energy, rail transportation, and other fields, which are exported to 15 developed countries and regions.”
High-Reliability Power Solutions
After briefly introducing TBEA’s parks around the world, Liu Zhuo focused on the application of the company’s high-reliability power solutions in high-altitude and desert areas.
Liu Zhuo pointed out the development of a project in Qinghai Province, China. Due to the harsh local natural environment and significant diurnal temperature variation, there are significant challenges to the stability of the power system. To tackle the impact on the safety and stability of the grid system, TBEA has developed SVG series products that provide various control modes such as constant reactive power, constant voltage, and constant power factor, as well as comprehensive compensation. These can achieve dynamic reactive power compensation and harmonic compensation, ensuring the stable operation of the project’s power system.
Furthermore, Liu Zhuo said that TBEA’s smart transformer products can adapt to high-temperature and high-humidity environments, featuring high-power generation, high safety, grid-friendliness, easy operation and maintenance, and other advantages.
In the field of string inverters, TBEA’s products can be applied to mountain photovoltaic power stations, floating power stations, etc. With high efficiency, superior reliability, comprehensive PID prevention strategies, reliable islanding protection, excellent power quality, and good grid accessibility, TBEA’s string inverters help users get safer, more reliable, and more efficient green energy.
In the field of energy storage, Liu Zhuo showcased TBEA’s commercial battery cabinets, containerized battery service systems, and other products, and introduced the application of different types of energy storage products on the power supply side and grid side.
At the end of his speech, Liu Zhuo expressed that TBEA’s future green energy goal is to contribute more than 500TWh clean energy annually, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 35.35 million tons, equivalent to planting 353.5 million trees. TBEA hopes to cooperate with local Saudi enterprises to to achieve green development goals!
