Spain´s Energy and Environment International Trade Fair GENERA was held from 26 February to 1 March 2019 at Feria de Madrid. On this occasion, GENERA has been especially marked by the new scenario favored by the recent passing of the Royal Decree Law 15/2018 which allows for self-consumption, thus opening new opportunities for the development of the clean energy sector and solar PV in particular, which is gaining momentum.
GoodWe debuted at the show with the display of its latest residential and C&I applications as well as its brand new three-phase energy storage solution, the ET Series hybrid inverter.
GoodWe inverter series have obtained the RD 1699 and UNE standard certifications for grid connected PV installations in Spain, including its best-selling DNS Series inverter and the Red Dot Design Award winner, hybrid-ready DSS Series. With a low start-up voltage of only 120V, a wide MPPT range and maximum efficiency of 97.8%, the DNS Series can provide high performance and greater options for any household system. The internationally awarded GoodWe DSS Series is compatible with bifacial double-glass modules. Furthermore, DC oversizing of up to 35% and AC overloading of 10% is allowed. Thanks to its reliable performance, the DSS Series can reach a highest efficiency of up to 98.6%.
On the C&I product portfolio, GoodWe presented the MT Series for large scale commercial rooftop and ground-mounted projects. Apart from offering a more compact design and competitive price, the MT Series provide a continuous power boost function to achieve a higher yield and quicker return on investment.Another star at GENERA was the innovative ET Series three-phase energy storage inverter which maximizes self-consumption. Covering a power range of 5 kW, 8 kW and 10 kW, the ET Series allows up to 100% overloading to maximize power output and features Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to inductive loads such as air conditioners or refrigerators with an automatic switchover time of less than 10 milliseconds.
As Europe´s fifth largest economy, Spain plans to source 70% of its electricity from renewables by 2030 and 100% in 2050. GENERA was a perfect opportunity for GoodWe to showcase its innovative solutions which can contribute to meet these goals.
