[International Energy Network Live Report] On December 9, a side event titled “Off-grid Solar Energy Empowers Land and People in Desert Areas” was held in the China Pavilion at the 16th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) (COP16) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The side event was hosted by the Center for Energy Transition and Social Development of the School of Social Sciences of Tsinghua University and co-hosted by the Hangzhou Photovoltaic Association. The conference aims to provide the most convenient living and production energy for people in desert areas by showcasing China’s off-grid solar products, and help achieve the SDG goals.

At this side event, Yan Huwei focused on displaying the VPP technology of SolaX Power Network.
