On May 18, the groundbreaking ceremony for the 15GW monocrystalline ingot and wafer project of Yinchuan LONGi was held in the Economic Development Zone of Yinchuan City. The participants includes：Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region, Jiang Zhigang, Party Secretary of Yinchuan Municipal Committee, Yang Dong, Vice Chairman of the People’s Government of the Autonomous Region, Li Hongru, Member of the Standing Committee of Yinchuan Municipal Committee, Vice Mayor of Yinchuan Municipal Committee, Zhao Gang, Member of the Standing Committee of Yinchuan Municipal Committee, and Secretary-General of the Yinchuan Municipal Committee, Wang Yong, Vice President of Yinchuan City Mr. Gao Yanjie, Director of the Management Committee of Yinchuan Economic Development Zone, Zhong Baoshen, Chairman of LONGi Group, Li Wenxue, President of LONGi Solar, and leaders of relevant departments of the autonomous region and Yinchuan City. They all witnessed the successful groundbreaking ceremony of the 15GW monocrytalline ingot and wafer project in Yinchuan.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, Chairman of the LONGi Group, Mr. Zhong Baoshen delivered a speech. He said that Ningxia is an important industrial layout of LONGi Group. Since 2006, LONGi has started investing in Ningxia. After the launch of the 15GW mono ingot and wafer project, Yinchuan LONGi will become the fourth subsidiary of LONGi Group. Yinchuan will become the first region in China to realize the whole industrial chain layout. The Economic Development Zone of Yinchuan City will also become the world’s largest manufacturing base where integrates the whole monocrystalline industry chain.

According to Chairman of LONGi, Mr. Zhong Baoshen, the 15GW mono ingot and wafer project of Yinchuan LONGi took only one month from the signing of the contract to the official construction. This project created the fastest-running record among all investment projects among LONGi history. It truly reflects the determination to create a good environment with the concept of pro-business, caring business and operating business for the Economic Development Zone of Yinchuan City. Mr. Zhong Baoshen also expressed his sincere gratitude to Ningxia Autonomous Region, the Economic and Technological Development Zone of Yinchuan City for their support and care for LONGi.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, the second batch of major projects signing ceremony in 2019 was held in the Economic Development Zone of Yinchuan City. Li Wenxue, president of LONGi Solar, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Beijing Energy Group on behalf of LONGi. Under the framework of the agreement, the two parties will cooperate in all aspects including domestic PV power plant development and construction, low-cost cost PV system design, PV power plant operation and maintenance, and global high-efficiency PV module supply.

After the ceremony, the leaders and business representatives visited the mono cell project in Yinchuan LONGi. LONGi Group also conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges with Beijing Energy Group.
