From December 2 to 13, the 16th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification under the theme of “Our Land, Our Future”, was grandly held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. 197 parties from around the world, experts in related fields and representatives of non-governmental organizations attended the meeting. The experience of our delegation in desertification control was highly praised by the delegates.
The China Pavilion, with a total area of more than 600 square meters, is the largest national theme pavilion outside the host country. It is used to hold the China Desertification Prevention and Control Theme Exhibition and carry out a series of side events.
At the China Pavilion, Mr. Pan Chenxi, the founder of Shang Hai Jinyou Jinhong Intelligent Electric Co.,Ltd, said in an interview with reporter on the sidelines of COP16 that he was very happy to see more and more attention paid to the prevention and control of desertification and the sustainable development of the land on which we depend for survival.
He also told reporters that the relevant activities carried out by the China Pavilion not only allowed the participating delegations to have a more comprehensive and intuitive understanding of my country’s experience in sand control and desertification prevention, but also allowed the participating representatives of various countries to have a deeper understanding of the relevant excellent enterprises in my country that are involved in sand control and desertification prevention, which will help the relevant countries to accelerate the process of desertification control.
Jinyou has developed a photovoltaic cable that can be directly buried or overhead , which can be used not only in deserts with arid and water-scarce areas, but also in areas with high groundwater levels, anti-rat, anti-ant, anti-small animals, and anti-frost heave requirements, in order to adapt to various harsh environments in desert areas and reduce the damage to the surface caused by the construction site and later maintenance of photovoltaic power generation projects since 2016. This ensures the performance of the product and reduces the investment cost of the project. Jinyou’s related photovoltaic cables were awarded as “Shanghai Famous Brand Products” and won the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award.
Mr. Pan Chenxi is very grateful to the organizers of the conference for the opportunity to participate in this event. During the meeting, Mr. Pan Chenxi introduced to guests from various countries the Electric cable produced by China Jinyou for photovoltaic systems specially used for desert photovoltaic power station. He also visited government, research institutes, and related excellent enterprises in Saudi Arabia and other countries to strengthen exchanges and deepen understanding.
