Dec 14 (Reuters) – U.S. solar company Energy Conversion Devices Inc (ECD) (ENER.O) said it agreed with Spain's Endesa (ELE.MC) to install 3 megawatts of solar power generating systems on the rooftops of two Coca-Cola Co (KO.N) buildings in Seville.
ECD said construction of its UNI-SOLAR photovoltaic laminates will begin in the current quarter, and will likely be completed in the first half of calendar 2010.
The completed system will be owned and managed by utility company Endesa, in which Italy's Enel (ENEI.MI) has a 92.6 percent stake.
ECD shares rose as much as 3 percent to $11.34 in premarket trade after closing at $10.99 Friday on Nasdaq.
