[International Energy Network Live Report] On the morning of December 10th, the side event titled “Planning and Ecological Design of Photovoltaic Power Stations in Desert Areas”was held at the China Pavilion of the 16th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification in Riyadh. Chen Siyu, Project Manager, The IT Electronics Eleventh Design&Research Institute Scientific and Technological Engineering Corporation Limited, shared the innovative achievements of Eleven Technology and the construction experience of the 500MW photovoltaic power station in Uzbekistan.

Mr. Zhang Liqiang:Project Manager, The IT Electronics Eleventh Design&Research Institute Scientific and Technological Engineering Corporation Limited

Layout in three major areas! Eleven Technology is consistent with the concept of COP16

According to Chen Siyu, Eleven Technology was established in 1964 and has the “Engineering Design Comprehensive Qualification Class A Certificate” issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. Headquartered in Chengdu, China, it has 40 external branches across China, 5,000 external employees, 30 photovoltaic power stations, and its power generation in 2020 exceeded 600 million kWh.

Eleven Technology is a large-scale comprehensive engineering technology service company specializing in engineering consulting, engineering design and engineering general contracting. Ranked 5th in the “2024 Engineering General Contracting Turnover Ranking” of the China Survey and Design Association. Eleven Technology has formed unique advantages in the three major fields of high technology (electronics and biology), photovoltaic new energy, and logistics, and has a far-reaching market influence.

At present, Eleven Technology’s major domestic and foreign customers include: SMIC, Intel, TSMC, Siemens, Samsung, Hynix, Volkswagen, Philips, China Electronics, Huawei, etc.

Chen Siyu said that Eleven Technology has always attached importance to environmental protection and ecological restoration, and a large number of photovoltaic power station projects it has undertaken are consistent with the concept of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification. So far, in the field of photovoltaic energy, Eleven Technology has undertaken projects in 31 countries and regions around the world, reflecting the international influence of Eleven Technology in the new energy manufacturing industry.

Eleven Technology Innovation Invention Photovoltaic Tree

Chen Siyu focused on the Eleven Technology Innovation Invention – Photovoltaic Tree.

Photovoltaic Tree is a green energy technology tree that converts solar energy into electrical energy, making it possible for solar energy to benefit the lives of thousands of households. It has dozens of patents and won the World Green Design Organization International Contribution Award. Photovoltaic trees are very flexible to arrange, and can be arranged in front of and behind houses, in courtyards, on both sides of roads, parks and other places.

Chen Siyu said that the photovoltaic tree of Eleven Technology is a highly intelligent integration of photovoltaic power generation systems and a highly concentrated ordinary photovoltaic power station. It combines photovoltaic power generation systems with various bionic trees to form a multi-purpose power generation device with various functional combinations. Photovoltaic trees are mainly divided into power generation systems, energy storage systems, control systems, and power consumption systems. The components are divided into support platforms, photovoltaic panel pillars, photovoltaic power generation panels, photovoltaic electric adjustment mechanisms, batteries and inverters.

Photovoltaic trees can be used alone or in combination to generate electricity together. Only one control system and one energy storage system are needed, which can be flexibly determined according to actual conditions.

Photovoltaic trees have strong landscape, high integration, flexibility, convenience and good scalability. They can be applied to different places and fields, and have broad application prospects.

Pay attention to ecological protection! Eleven Technology creates eco-friendly photovoltaic power stations

Chen Siyu said that the 500MW photovoltaic power station project in the Republic of Uzbekistan is a key photovoltaic project currently undertaken by Eleven Technology. The power station is the largest single photovoltaic power station project in Uzbekistan. It is located in a Gobi desert in Namangan Province. After completion, it is expected to generate an average annual power of 1 billion kWh, which can save about 300,000 tons of standard coal per year, and correspondingly reduce about 820,000 tons of carbon dioxide, about 100 tons of sulfur oxides, and about 150 tons of nitrogen oxides per year. It has good energy-saving, environmental and social benefits.

On January 19, 2024, AbdurazakovShavkat Shokirdjanovich, Governor of Namangan, Uzbekistan, and Comrade Yu Caizhi, Senior Vice President of 11th Science and Technology, President of North China Region, and Chairman of Tianjin Branch, signed a bilateral agreement memorandum.

At 15:00 on March 25, 2024, local time in Namangan Province, Uzbekistan, three major projects were launched. Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the ceremony in person and pressed the start button. President Mirziyoyev said: “I congratulate all the new projects and initiatives that are about to be implemented.” These projects are of great significance to improving people’s livelihood and promoting national economic development. They are one of the foundations of Uzbekistan’s policies. The completion of the projects will also create better living conditions for the people.

Eleven Technology attaches great importance to ecological protection. The photovoltaic area bracket foundation of the project is all made of renewable steel pipe piles, and the box inverter integrated machine foundation is also all made of steel pipe piles. No concrete and block materials are used. In addition, the project is also equipped with artificial forests and artificial lakes.

In order to protect the ecological environment, Eleven Technology and Professor He Jijiang’s team from the School of Social Sciences of Tsinghua University have in-depth discussions on ecological protection measures, and invited Professor He to visit and guide on site.

Finally, Chen Siyu said that Eleven Technology will rely on its construction experience in the field of photovoltaic new energy to build an eco-friendly photovoltaic power station to help the global energy transformation.
