Wind energy project closes on financing

Olympus Power closed on $20 million of financing for a 20 MW wind project in Minnesota.

Prudential Capital Group arranged the financing, which includes a purchase of $20 million in senior secured notes for a term of 18.8 years and fixed interest for the Grant County Wind Farm. Olympus Power first entered into the wind farm's purchase from Suzlon and Juhl Wind in March 2011.

The project uses 10 Suzlon S88-2.1 MW wind turbines and began service in March 2010.
