Wind energy project offered $135mn DOE loan guarantee

The U.S. Department of Energy offered a $135.76 million conditional loan guarantee to Granite Reliable Power LLC for the 99 MW Granite Reliable wind project in New Hampshire.


The project will use 33 Vestas 3 MW wind turbines. Central Vermont Public Service and Green Mountain Power are buying a majority of the electricity generated under power purchase agreements.
