Located in Gilliam County, Oregon, the Rattlesnake Road Wind Farm will deliver close to 240 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of electricity annually. The project is currently under construction and Horizon expects it to start producing energy for delivery to PG&E in late 2008.
"We applaud PG&E for taking the initiative to supply their customers with pollution-free, wind energy," said Antonio Martins da Costa, chairman and CEO of Horizon Wind Energy.
