As of the end of 2023, Risen Energy has independently developed and authorized 740 patented technologies. As the first photovoltaic company to deploy n-type heterojunction technology, by the end of 2023, the company has 104 independent heterojunction patent technologies. This not only ensures the independence and autonomy of the company in developing high-quality photovoltaic products, but also enhances the core competitiveness of the products.

Brwa Majid Mohammed said: As a global top-level photovoltaic manufacturing company, Risen Energy has been deeply involved in the photovoltaic field for more than 20 years. Risen Energy has formed effective production capacity including about 27GW of batteries and about 35GW of modules in bases such as Chuzhou, Anhui, Jintan, Jiangsu, Yiwu, Zhejiang, Ningbo, Zhejiang, Malaysia and Baotou, Inner Mongolia. In addition, the company’s battery module production capacity under construction mainly includes the “Zhejiang Ninghai 15GWn-type ultra-low carbon high-efficiency heterojunction cell and 15GW high-efficiency solar module project” in Ninghai, the “4GW high-efficiency solar cell and 6GW high-efficiency solar cell module project” in Jintan, Jiangsu, and the “annual production of 10GW high-efficiency solar cell project” in Chuzhou, Anhui, etc., and the daily single-line output of multiple bases is at least 342,000 pieces, and the available yield rate is also maintained at 99.6%.

For many years, Risen Energy has been engaged in the research and development and production of solar crystalline silicon cells and modules and the construction and operation of photovoltaic power stations. It has accumulated deep technical reserves in the field of high-efficiency photovoltaic cells and modules. At present, the company has mastered high-efficiency battery mass production technology, including PERC cells, TOPCON cells and heterojunction cells, as well as half-cell, splicing, shingles, ultra-thin double-sided glass, high-reflective backplane and other new module technologies.

Fuxi modules can maximize the satisfaction of users’ diverse needs such as cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and carbon emission reduction

Since mastering the low-temperature process technology of heterojunction battery modules in 2018 and successfully preparing high-efficiency heterojunction module products, Risen Energy has mastered the rhythm of heterojunction. In 2019, it opened a 500MW heterojunction pilot line at the Jintan base in Changzhou and released the industry’s first half-cell heterojunction module with an efficiency of 21.9%. In 2021, Risen Energy won the heterojunction power generation award, which is also a critical node. Brwa Majid Mohammed introduced: The PERC limit efficiency is 24.5%, and the mass production efficiency in 2019 has been close to the theoretical limit of PERC. At present, the average mass production efficiency of heterojunction batteries has reached 25.5%.

In terms of N-type HJT technology, Risen Energy has achieved the first mass production in the industry through its independently developed 0BB battery technology and 210 ultra-thin silicon wafer technology. In terms of TOPCon battery technology, the company adopts a new contact passivation process, optimizes the activation process, and improves battery efficiency. ‌

With the support of mature technology and process, the innovative heterojunction Fuxi module built by Risen Energy based on the 210+ heterojunction technology platform has a maximum power of 767.38Wp and a module conversion rate of 24.7%, reaching the highest level in the current field.

The ultra-low carbon 210 Hyper-ion Fuxi module product adopts unique low-temperature double-sided passivation contact, multi-busbar technology, and double-sided microcrystalline technology in terms of process; 210 half-thin silicon wafers, low silver content slurry, steel frame and other materials are used in terms of materials. While having high power and high conversion efficiency, the cost reduction measures such as multi-busbar technology, thin silicon wafers, and low silver content slurry used in the Fuxi series products control its cost to the same level as traditional PERC products, making the cost per kilowatt-hour of this product have a greater advantage.

  1. The power of Fuxi modules exceeds 720Wp+, the efficiency reaches more than 23.2%, and the bifaciality rate is as high as 90%. These characteristics make it generate more electricity in high temperature environments, especially in areas with higher temperatures, where the power generation gain is more obvious. In addition, the latest heterojunction Fuxi Proa module has a power of 767.38Wp and a conversion efficiency of 24.70%, which has once again refreshed the industry record.
  2. Fuxi modules use low-temperature double-sided passivated contacts, multi-busbar technology, double-sided microcrystalline technology and other processes, as well as 210 half-thin silicon wafers, low silver content slurry, steel frame and other materials, making its carbon footprint less than 400g/w, which has obvious competitive advantages over PERC and TOPCona modules.
  3. Fuxi modules use cost-reduction measures such as multi-busbar technology, thin silicon wafers, and low silver content slurry to make its cost per kilowatt-hour more advantageous, which is at the same level as traditional PERC products. In addition, high power and high power generation reduce BOS (construction cost) and cost per kilowatt-hour, further improving economic efficiency.
  4. Fuxi modules are suitable for a wide range of application scenarios, with high reliability, and have passed a series of IEC tests such as 3XIEC, IEC63209, salt spray, ammonia, dust and sand, uneven snow load, thermal cycle, forced sand blasting, and low temperature load.

It is particularly worth mentioning that after simulation and calculation, Fuxi modules take 1GW650W modules as an example, and the transportation distance is 10,000 kilometers by sea (the total weight of the steel frame used in the 1GW module: 8461 tons, the total weight of the aluminum frame: 5307 tons) The carbon emissions of the frame materials used for 1GW modules throughout the life cycle are 77% less than aluminum, which is equivalent to saving 90,580 tons of coal. According to the Energy Research Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission, the carbon emission coefficient of 1 ton of standard coal is 0.67. With the increase in the proportion of recycled steel applications, if 100% of recycled steel is used, the gap will be further widened, and carbon emissions can be reduced by up to 95.5%.

In high-temperature areas, HJT’s power generation is about 6% higher than PERC and about 3% higher than TOPCon. (such as the Middle East, Australia and the southern United States) Based on the calculation of a 100MW project (based on the current carbon trading price of 70 yuan/ton), it generates 6 million kWh more electricity per year than PERC, which is equivalent to reducing 5,760 tons of carbon dioxide emissions and bringing about 400,000 yuan of carbon value. It generates 3 million kWh more electricity per year than TOPCon, which is equivalent to reducing 2,880 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, bringing about 200,000 yuan of carbon value, which can meet the user’s multiple needs such as cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and carbon emission reduction.

At the end of the speech, Brwa Majid Mohammed shared the 9,000-watt demonstration project of Risen Energy in Ninghai, Zhejiang. In the results of the tracking test of the power station for 8 consecutive months, the average single-watt power generation of the heterojunction was 3.9% higher than that of TOPCon. In another demonstration base established in Dongfang City, Hainan Province, led by the National Solar Photovoltaic Product Quality Inspection and Testing Center (CPVT), tracking data showed that the single-watt power generation of the heterojunction was 5% higher than that of the bifacial PERC on average.

In conclusion

As a world-leading new energy company, Risen Energy leads the global energy innovation with its solar cell modules and photovoltaic power stations, and provides new energy green solutions and integrated services to the world. “Fuxi” is one of the best products to help customers achieve “low carbon” or “zero carbon” goals and promote the whole society into the era of carbon neutrality.
