The GameChange Solar new factory in Feira de Santana, Bahia, Brazil, started operations in November 2023 and has a capacity of 2.5 gigawatts of tracking equipment, meeting the demand for Genius Tracker equipment in the local and Latin American markets. The products have received a FINAME certificate from the Brazilian Development Bank, ensuring compliance with domestic manufacturing requirements. The company is committed to the Brazilian solar energy industry and has invested in products that comply with FINAME specifications, providing quality employment opportunities. The Operations Director stated that establishing a business headquarters and factory in Sao Paulo will provide unique services to customers, enabling local manufacturing, training, and support. According to Absolar, there will be over 38.9 billion Brazilian reais ($3.8 billion) invested in the Brazilian solar energy industry in 2024, with developers expected to install over 9.3 gigawatts of solar power this year.
