State-owned Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has recently issued a tender seeking a project management consultant for the installation of a 100 MW solar project at Galiveedu Solar Park in Andhra Pradesh. The project is intended for captive consumption.
The chosen consultant will be responsible for the design, engineering, procurement, supply, erection, and commissioning of the solar projects within the solar park.
The deadline for bid submissions is July 18, 2023, with the bids set to be opened on the same day.
Interested bidders must have previous experience as a PMC, overseeing the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of 100 MW ground-mounted solar projects in India. Furthermore, the solar project should have been operational for at least one year. Bidders should have achieved an average annual turnover of at least ₹345 crore over the past three financial years.
As part of the tender process, bidders are required to submit an earnest money deposit of ₹1.98 crore.
The contract will remain valid for 18 months from the issuance of the letter of intent, encompassing all stages of the project.
The selected consultant will be responsible for planning, initiating, guiding, coordinating, supervising, and controlling all project implementation activities through a dedicated task force comprising specialists and experts in various project aspects, including engineering design, procurement, inspection, construction, and commissioning.
