Oil India has sought consultancy services for establishing 100 MW or above solar PV and wind energy power plants in any state in India. Applications can be submitted till June 27.
Oil India Ltd (OIL), a government-owned oil and gas company, has invited Expressions of Interest to provide consultancy services for building a minimum of 100 MW of solar (ground-mount or floating PV) and wind energy power plants in India.
The empanelled consultant will prepare the pre-feasibility report, detailed project report and provide project management consultancy services for developing Oil India’s solar and wind power projects. The contract period is two years.
Contributing to the Government of India’s efforts for cleaner and greener energy, Oil India has established a total of 174.1 MW of wind energy power plants over the states of Rajasthan, Gujrat, and Madhya Pradesh. It has also established two solar energy power plants of 14 MW capacity in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
As of date, Oil India has a cumulative renewables portfolio of 188.1 MW. Now, it intends to establish 100 MW or above solar PV and wind energy power plants in any state in India.
