Hannah Solar Government Services to install large solar project for U.S. Naval Base Guam

Hannah Solar Government Services has been selected as the EPC for a 1.08-MW PV system for the United States Navy at Naval Base Guam.

Naval Base Guam is a strategic, joint U.S. naval base located in the Northern Mariana Islands of the Pacific Ocean. It is home to multiple U.S. Navy submarines, a Coast Guard Cutter, as well as nearly 30 other tenant commands. Their strategic location has been vital to protecting U.S. and its allies’ interests since 1944.

The ground mount solar PV energy system being designed will help reduce much of the costs the base incurs annually with traditional power sources.

“Naval Base Guam provides critical support and protection for the United States, and we are honored to be able to provide them with design and support for this ground mount solar system,” said Col (RET.) Dave McNeil, president and CEO of HSGS.
