The Indian Synthetic Rubber Private Limited (ISRPL), a joint venture of the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Taiwan Synthetic Rubber, and Marubeni Corporation, has invited bids for the installation and commissioning of 2,918 kW of rooftop solar systems at its manufacturing facility in Panipat, Haryana.
The scope of work includes designing, planning, engineering, procurement, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of the 2,918 kW of rooftop solar systems on a turnkey basis.
The contractor’s scope of work will start from module supply and installation, supply of module mounting structures and their installation including foundations, and continue up to the point of interconnection at 6.6 kV level through captive mode in synchronization with the existing system.
The successful bidder will also have to take care of the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the project for two years post the commissioning of the project.
The last date to submit the bids is October 9, 2021.
The bidder will have to furnish bid security of ?500,000 (~$6,770). The successful bidder will have to submit 10% of the total contract value as a performance bank guarantee.
The successful bidder must complete the construction and commissioning of the project within four months from the contract date.
The bidder must have installed and commissioned rooftop solar projects of at least 10 MW capacity as a developer or engineering, procurement, and construction provider. The projects should have been commissioned in the last 36 months before the bid submission date.
The bidder must also have installed three rooftop projects of 1 MW each, or two projects of 1.5 MW each, or one project of 2.2 MW.
The bidder should have an annual turnover of ?100 million (~$1.35 million) in any one of the last three financial years before the bid submission deadline.
The total solar array capacity should not be less than the allocated capacity (2.918 kW). It should comprise mono passivated emitter and rear cells (PERC) solar modules of a minimum capacity of 535 Wp and above wattage. The module efficiency should be 20.7% or above.
Recently, IOCL invited bids to empanel vendors to develop solar projects at its locations and retail outlets across India. The scope of work included the design, engineering, testing, supply, packing, transportation, storage, installation, and commissioning of the project.
