China Longyuan Power Group Corp<0916>, the country's largest wind-power producer, said yesterday that its electricity output amounted to 3.07 terawatt hours (TWhs) in April, 13.06% more than that in the same month of 2012.
The firm's wind power output rose 19.65% YoY, and its thermal power output climbed 1.86% YoY last month.
Electricity output from other renewable energy sources climbed 3.76% from the same month of last year in April.
In the first four months of this year, the company's electricity output increased 15.88% YoY to 11.21 TWhs. The wind power output jumped 28.84% YoY, while thermal power output fell 3.48%.
