Bahrain eyes Japan solar energy tie up

Trade Arabia reported that Dr Hassan Fakhro industry and commerce minister of Bahrain visited the plant of Japanese solar energy expert Mitaka Kohki Company in Yokohama and expressed Bahrain's keenness to cooperate in this area and share the technical know how.


Dr Hassan Fakhro discussed this during a meeting with Japanese inventor and company president Mr Katsushige Nakamura and engineer Mr Yasuaki P Kohama held on the sidelines of an official visit of His Majesty King Hamad to Japan.


Also present were Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry chairman Dr Essam Fakhro and Bahrain and Japan Business and Friendship Society VP Mr Nasser Al Arayedh and a number of prominent Bahraini businessmen.


The minister praised the outstanding technical expertise achieved by the company in solar energy and space researches fields, stressing Bahrain's keenness to cooperate in this area and share the know how in the use of solar energy.
